Palm trees on the beach of Marmaris. Turkey. In this oil painting, I translated my deep admiration for the serene beauty of coastal landscapes into every stroke. The blend of impressionism and realism captures the play of light on the textured palm fronds and the shimmering tranquility of the distant sea. This piece embodies a harmonious escape to nature, meant to bring a breath of calm and inspiration into any living space. It invites viewers to pause and lose themselves in the peacefulness of a seaside moment. I saw this inspiring view by chance, returning from another sketch by the sea. All penetrating light and an abundance of reflexes on the palms. From the abundance of light, the palms seem to have lost their materiality and weight. And the number of shades of blue, green and ocher fascinates the eye!
