Original artwork description:

I have always been fascinated by nature and trees and Palm Trees are very special to me as I didn’t see many of them growing up in Liverpool, England! Since arriving in Taiwan I have enjoyed seeing them all around and they never fail to cheer me up and serve as a reminder of where I am on this amazing Tropical Island. I like how they look so different to other trees with their tall sleek appearance and how they show a lot of character and life experience in the rings of their bark. From a distance they look deceptively smooth but are actually very detailed close up. That is what I wanted to focus on and show in this Graphite drawing that was done on a hot tropical day in Kenting, south Taiwan.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver to every country at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
