Passing by these palm tree shadows everyday was a treat for the eyes. Only at 5:15 pm in late Spring would they appear. The cool blue color of the shadows cast upon the sunlit warm white of this house created colors and shapes that seemed to dance. It took over two years before I decided to paint it.
