From a series of small works that I did in 2012, based on E.Muybridge's photos.
A piece that show's what I call my "abstract side"
I created this piece first by painting the horse and rider, and then applied many thin layers of mixed media and working back into it, to create a mist-like finish, blurring the original image. I wanted to play with the idea of creating a light/weightless image of a heavy horse, with an element of nostalgia and mysteriousness.
Although the piece is shown framed I'm offering it as unframed because of shipping costs;)
