I've wanted to try Batik for years. I remember how to do it from my Jr. High School days, believe it or not. We had a really good art teacher in the school, and this type of art was one that she had us try. I know it's time-consuming, and not exactly easy, a bit messy even, but the results are great if you plan carefully.
So I made one earlier last year, on paper, called "Wonder", you can find in the collection here. It was a small trial size. Just this last week I decided to try Paisley as a pattern. Worked out really well. I have this as the original art piece, and also as a print with photo art manipulated over it (see "Paisley Girl").
The price here is for unframed, and it can still be mailed in a tube for you to do with as you wish, OR, I can frame for you for an additional amount with will probably cost as much as the piece itself. I would recommend a "light box" style framing...the kind where you mount the paper piece in a frame that is larger than the piece, leaving some room around it, and putting it some small distance from the background as well, a very 3D effect.
