This is made of strips of oil paintings. I was thinking of how to make use of paintings that were not successful (in my eyes, at least), and came up with this idea of cutting them up into a narrow strips and make a collage.
I am also an avid knitter and this combines the two passions of mine. I keep it small to preserve the feeling of a little gem.
