This is made of strips of oil paintings. I was thinking of a way to make use of paintings that I was not happy about and came up with this idea of cutting them up into narrow strips and make a collage.
It's liberating to cut my paintings to make something new. It has depth of colours and texture as I painted this one with transparent paint. I am also an avid knitter and was interested in using my craft skills.
