This is made of strips of oil paintings. I was thinking of how to make use of the paintings that did not reach its potential, and came up with this idea of making a collage by cutting them into narrow strips.
It is liberating to cut up paintings that I am not happy about and making into something new. It has a craft feel to it with its texture and colours.
