The title "Painted Man" comes from saturated, bright colors used to express the facial structure of the man. The final work has a quick expressionist feel but each stroke was very calculated. My brush, loaded with color, hovered over the painting while practicing the direction, the pressure and the release. When I felt confident, aimed like a rifle shot, I made the stroke. Each stroke follows the form as if the brush was rolling across a 3D sculpture. I'm very pleased with this technique. As it cured in my studio, I continued to examine each stroke. Fully cured now, this painting and style is ready for you to enjoy.

24"x18" - standard size gallery wrapped canvas. The edges are painted and may be hung straight out of the box. If a frame is desired, this work will fit a standard open back frame. Quality inexpensive frames can be found at Dick Blick.
