The hues intertwine shades of pale pink, lilac, and deep green; each tone dissolves into the next, evoking the sensation of a landscape that floats and constantly evolves.
The play of light and color captures the most intimate essence of the Tuscan landscape at dawn, with its fields and hills seeming to dance in a mystical silence.

PAINTED DREAM #27 captures that fleeting moment of transition between night and day, a moment where everything is suspended, and nature awakens in a chromatic palette that fuels dreams and whispers of new beginnings.

The Tuscan area of Val d'Orcia, in the heart of Italy just south of the beautiful city of Siena, truly stands out for its extremely captivating landscape, so unique and unmistakable that it was officially recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2004.
The landscape of Val d'Orcia has inspired artists and painters since the Renaissance and now it has inspired me, always in search of remote natural places, still largely untouched by human presence.

The "Painted Dreams" shots were born in this way, among the most isolated and iconic hills of Val d'Orcia at the first light of dawn or the last glimmers before twilight. These are abstract images not digitally manipulated, but naturally created at the moment of shooting to best capture the emotions experienced in solitude among those silent places on the border between dream and reality.
