In PAINTED DREAM #25, the hills of the Val d’Orcia are bathed in a warm, almost melancholic light, with blurred contours. The landscape, in its fullness, feels like an embrace of colors.
The tones are earthy and amber, creating an atmosphere that is profoundly romantic, a kind of ode to the wild yet serene beauty of Tuscan nature. The scene, elusive and mysterious, conveys a deep sense of serenity, capturing a suspended, timeless Tuscan sunset.

The Tuscan area of Val d'Orcia, in the heart of Italy just south of the beautiful city of Siena, truly stands out for its extremely captivating landscape, so unique and unmistakable that it was officially recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2004.
The landscape of Val d'Orcia has inspired artists and painters since the Renaissance and now it has inspired me, always in search of remote natural places, still largely untouched by human presence.

The "Painted Dreams" shots were born in this way, among the most isolated and iconic hills of Val d'Orcia at the first light of dawn or the last glimmers before twilight. These are abstract images not digitally manipulated, but naturally created at the moment of shooting to best capture the emotions experienced in solitude among those silent places on the border between dream and reality.
