Original artwork description:

This was inspired by a walk along the river that runs to one of my favourite beaches. I happened to be wearing a funky pair of wellies my sister gave me and when I looked down at my feet, I was intrigued by the colour of the stones under the shallow water at the edge of the river and snapped a quick photo on my phone to use as a reference for this painting.

This has been painted on a deep edge canvas so does not need to be framed. The edges are painted in a midnight blue/indigo and, as with all my artwork, the painting has been sprayed with a satin varnish to protect from UV light and dust.
