Pacific Sunset is one of the series of paintings inspired by my visit to the Pacific coast of Costa Rica in August 2017. There were the most beautiful sunsets there, different every day. With the colours changing from almost black and dark blue to the light silver pinks and golden shimmer. This particular painting is about the contrast of the setting sun and the surrounding clouds, as well as the lines of the light in the sky and the calm sea which I happened to observe at Playa El Jobo, Guanacste in North West of Costa Rica.
