Artwork description:

An artwork born in 2009, representing one of my own shots, I took of my son.
Raising my boy was for sure my best artwork so far, yet the hardest.
Kids experience many emotions during childhood years, and the sense of vulnerability and resilience I captured in this shot, is what gave me the inspiration for this work.

Using my knowledge as a photographer, I created this print, using an old fashion hand-printing technique developed in the 18th century, and self producing light-sensitive emulsion out of potassium bromide, silver nitrate and gelatin. Finally the image is impressed on cotton paper, letting the oxidation process of silver do it's magic in the darkroom, illuminated by the evocative red lights.

It is a ready-to-hang piece, framed in a customized aluminium support, decorated with calcium carbonate extracted from dolomite, and paint.

Authenticity Certificate is included.
