A gouache painting of a pair pf Oystercatchers wading and feeding in water. It is executed on 300gsm hot pressed watercolour paper, is titled 'Oystercatchers Wading' and is signed a second time on the back. It is unmounted and unframed.
Inspired by the contrast of the stark colours of the birds with their orange beaks and legs against the frosted jade of the water and the strange tranquility of the whole scene. I couldn't resist it !
