Over the past few weeks, I have worked intensively on a new painting. This piece was a real struggle, and I had to search hard for the right balance. Sometimes I wanted to give up, but ultimately I saw potential again. Because of this process, the work has become extra layered, and I’m very glad that I persevered. It is a mixed media piece with digitally manipulated photography, enhanced with thick layers of gel medium, oil paint, oil sticks, chrome paint, and a satin finish varnish, created on a 3D aluminum frame measuring 140x140 cm
