Original artwork description:

A favorite place to buy fresh lobsters is the Owls Head Lobster Pound near to where I love to stay in coastal Maine. This day was brilliant with clear views all the way out to Monhegan Island. In the late afternoon the lobster skiffs are dragged on to the shore by the owners and left until another day at sea. I love their lines and the angles of sunlight on their sides. A real Maine sight! Hang this on your cottage walls or at home to remind you of the beauty that is special about Maine or any other seaside environment.

Materials used:

canvas on wood stretchers, acrylic paints, acrylic varnish medium
