Owl is an ethnic wood sculpture of a perched owl.

It is made from a piece of light wood found in the forest, eaten away by nature and the weather, abandoned to its sad fate of dead wild wood...

It belongs to the Ostreides series, which expresses the complexity of life in its search for the most appropriate form for survival, as well as the wisdom of the spirit applied to the transformation of matter.

Owl has been worked and carved with a gouge in wood that has been cleaned and emptied of its impurities and weaknesses to give it its final shape and completed with surfine wood pulp where necessary, then stained with water-soluble oil paint and varnished.
