Original artwork description:

I did this piece a couple of years ago, but once finished, decided I wanted to live with it for awhile… I’ve been quite captivated by it, and view it as a piece I’m not sure I could recreate again!! I recall tgat I did it during a period when I had several friends and guests visiting me in France, from the USA, and my days were feeling incredibly full. This might be the emotional clue to all the “overlapping” happening in this image. As well, the pastel colors reflect so well my lovely life on the Mediterranean, in a town filled with yellow, pink and orange houses and buildings. This painting is ginger around the edges so it can be hung unframed.
