Artwork description:

This print was created as part of a series I'm making for a project called 'Spreading Our Wings' with a group of makers from the Suffolk Craft Society. We are working with RSPB Minsmere, which is next to Dunwich on the Suffolk coast. The aim of the project is to expand our practices whilst also collaborating and connecting with people to invite a discussion on the many interesting issues facing Minsmere’s history and environment as well as raising awareness of contemporary craft.

All of my prints are original linocuts and are handmade by me. Because they are handmade, prints inevitably have minuscule differences...part of the charm of being made by a person and not a machine!

I use Lawrence oil-based relief printing inks and Zerkall smooth white paper, 145gsm. I use a BlueBoy printing press. There is more information about my studio and other work on my website.

Prints will be sent to you unframed, protected with cellophane in a re-enforced padded envelope on a Special Delivery service with the Post Office.

I retain copyright

Materials used:

Zerkall paper, oil-based inks and lino
