This linocut print shows a couple of birds soaring over the North York Moors looking towards Fryup near Whitby.
It is an original reduction linocut print, using just one block of lino and a process of carving away the lino between each layer of colour to produce the final image. It is a limited variable print from an edition of 12 using UNICA Fabriano printing paper, 250gsm and Lawrence oil-based inks. The image size is 30cm x 60.5cm with a generous margin to allow for framing.
My linocuts are handmade from start to finish - hand carved, inked and handprinted, and as such they will have small variations between prints - making each print into a unique artwork.
As these prints are quite large, they will be sent packaged in a reinforced tube. If you have any questions, please just get in touch and thanks for taking a look!
