Original artwork description:

Painted on-site on in my neighborhood in Minneapolis. Features a stunning autumn maple tree in shades of deep red, orange-red, magenta, and rose set atop a green hillside, with a scattering of dry leaves and tall grasses. The scene is set against a background of bare winter branches and a cool blue sky.

Painted in oil and iridescent oil over casein paint on board with both palette knife and brush. The use of palette knife in this painting creates a uniques sense of movement and texture in the grass and foliage, which contrasts well with the matte, casein paint in the sky.

Framed in a 1" wide wood frame with a cherry brown finish which complements the colors in the painting. May also be purchased unframed by request.
