Sometimes it needs a little encouragement to think laterally, to think "outside the box", to change the perspective to break new ground, beyond old boundaries.

This is where the work material is a work of art, the sponge with which I otherwise work out the paintings must be the focus here, and is also set as the raw blank stretched canvas in scene. Unusual perspectives, new opportunities, winking new paradigm... *outside the box* .
