Outing is about those moments when people make a small walk outside the city and get in touch with the nature for a while. Of course the dog - a true friend and member of the family is there as well. The walking with a slow pace brings relaxed mood and a feeling of getting in touch with the true things.
The painting was inspired by and is based on memories of such outings we have made with a friend and colleague of mine to draw and paint en plein air. His black dog Jack was always with us.
