"Out of the boxes" explores the tension between confinement and the potential for freedom. The model ship, positioned amidst discarded cardboard boxes, symbolizes aspirations and dreams trapped within the confines of routine and limitation. The window framing the serene view of the sea suggests a space for escape, inviting the viewer to contemplate the transition from stagnation to transformation.

This work engages with themes of liberation and the search for meaning within the constraints of modern life. The juxtaposition of the cluttered interior with the open sea outside echoes the broader art historical context of escape and self-discovery, drawing on surrealist and symbolic traditions where objects and environments act as metaphors for psychological states. Through this, the piece challenges the viewer to reflect on their own journey beyond the “boxes” that limit their potential.
