Original artwork description:

Italy, May 2020. Colored and peeling walls on all sides build a metaphorical cage in which a swimmer dreams about the water of a pool. She is in a shelter cage, which encloses but also protects from what is outside. The almost magical portal that opens on the wall in front of her invites towards a freedom that seems close. In reality, that freedom has yet to submit to time of waiting, whose flow seems indifferent to natural laws.
This painting has been realised for my final MFA painting project during the italian general lockdown in spring 2020.
Matt final varnish, signed certificate of authenticity.
