for this collection I have got inspiration from tiling as well as carpet design in persian culture as well as other cultures that have the same visual impact. In this recontextualization, I take inspiration from the spiritual and architectural significance of the tiles that have adorned Persian structures for centuries, merging them with the warmth and tactile nature of carpet designs that speak to home, comfort, and heritage. Through this fusion, Out of Contest becomes not just a visual exploration of form, but also a metaphor for cultural continuity and transformation.
At its core, Out of Contest challenges the viewer to reflect on the timelessness of Persian art, questioning how traditional motifs, once removed from their original settings, can acquire new meanings and relevance. It invites a reconsideration of the boundaries between applied art and fine art, and the shifting role of heritage in contemporary expression.


This painting will be carefully packed and shipped to ensure its protection from any damage during transit.
