“Out of a Dream” is a monochrome abstract seascape oil painting 40 x 40cm (16 x 16 inches) on a 4cm (1.5 inch) deep canvas.
Painted after watching the golden light on the sea at in Hastings illuminate an otherwise grey day. The title is from the song “A Face in the Crowd” by Tom Petty.
It's painted in black and white, grey, metallic silver and yellow. The paint is layered and blended and has a slight glossy sheen.
The image continues around the sides of the artwork and it is signed on the back. It’s ready to hang and comes with a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity.
