Original artwork description:

This series of paintings came about after the light snowfall we had over Ouse Valley, Sussex in early winter. The grey sky, and crisp air, the river runs through the valley and the marsh grass was stiff with frost.

This painting is framed in a simple wooden box frame finished with white wax to let the wood grain show through.
