Original artwork description:

The earth and its flora and fauna are under attack. The rainforest is being demolished at an alarming rate while politicians rescind environmental protections for corporate gains and campaign support. We must rise up in support of the land and its creatures to save them before it’s too late.

I created this painting by starting with bright strokes of acrylic paint, which I layered over with colored paper, transfers, and sketches. I finished the work by adding the opaque white cold wax medium to obscure this leafy world.
