This captivating image was taken at Ostel Bay, a hidden gem nestled in the Scottish Highlands. Known as the Secret Beach or Kilbride Bay, this secluded paradise lies near the picturesque village of Tignabruaich on the Argyll Coast.

This is Ostel Bay III, one of a set of three images in my Ostel Bay collection, Ostel Bay I, II and III. Choose all three for a large space where you need to harmonise and colour without ostentation.

My work is all about the emotional connection we have to a place and the moment in our memory when we felt such intense pleasure looking at a landscape. I am driven to capture the essence of a place with my camera, working mainly with the colours and shapes I see when I half close my eyes. I travel to remote islands, to places steeped in history, unspoilt beaches and wild rocky coastlines where I love to work in quiet solitude.

I love printing and have long been obsessed with the materials I use. I love to work with fine art canvas and papers that are made for museum quality artworks.

This listing is for the paper version of the print; this would be ideal for dry mounting or float framing. It is an great size for a room with a high ceiling yet it does not over power as it is in soft neutral tones.
