Original artwork description:

A unique kiln formed glass sculpture comprising of two opaque white glass panels standing on a base of solid walnut.

The delicate lace like centre of the piece appears to disintegrate as holes form and puncture the once solid panels of opaque white glass, leaving only a thin edge remaining. The strands of these glass webs undulate gently, creating movement and depth while light dances through the apertures to cast shadows onto surrounding surfaces.

A calm and contemplative piece that would make a delightful addition to any space.

Materials used:

Glass, walnut, aluminium
