Artwork description:

Oschi is a much loved family pet who fascinates me with her speed and flexibility when she is running and jumping around outside. Because she is an Artic breed of dog she does not like being inside for too long. This figure was more difficult to model in wax because she does not stand still very often or very long. I prefer to model the dog from life rather than a photograph because I can only guess their physical nature from a photograph. If I spend time with the dog I get to know them.
After the figure is modelled in wax it is sent for casting in bronze. This means that there will be a waiting time for around six weeks depending on how busy the foundry is.
