Original artwork description:

'Distant City' is a seascape painting in watercolours, using a gorgeous palette of pinks, blues and purples. This was created alongside my other two seascapes called 'Black Isles' and 'Shoreline Rocks' so they share a common colour palette.

It measures approx. 6.25" x 8.25" and is painted onto professional watercolour paper. It is being sold unframed.

It was a joy to paint the movement in the clouds and the sea and I think the city and mountains silhouette in the background adds a special mystery to the piece. I imagine maybe a lone traveller being drawn to an unknown land in the distance.

The painting will be sent in clear plastic and a board backed envelope.
