Watercolor painting “Mountain freshness. Ushguli, Svaneti. Georgia” was drawn during my plein air cycling trip across Georgia in 2019.

I was impressed by this view, it reflects the power, beauty and severity of the weather conditions in which they constantly live there.

The settlement of Ushguli is located at an altitude of 2200 m above sea level. In the background, the highest mountain in Georgia, Shkhara, there is always snow on it. The Inguri river with glacial water runs along the settlement.

The painting was made by professional Italian watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton French watercolor paper Arches 300 g
