Of all the fruits that I paint, any type of citrus is really my favourite. I have painted a lot of lemons and continue to do so. A recent addition to this is the awesome grapefruit. I love the color of these slices and enjoy depicting the play of light on them.

For this little painting, I simply cut up the slices and placed them under sunlight. And I let the light just do its thing! This small painting can be combined with my other grapefruit paintings or other kitchen still lifes to make a stunning display on your walls.

I have used the highest quality artist oil paints as always. If you buy more than one piece, I will offer you a discount on the shipping.
