Original artwork description:

Blue 03 is one of my original abstract landscape paintings.
It is part of a series of two, orginally one large artwork which I felt didn't work, so I made the decision to cut them into two pieces.
The inspiration for this piece has come from memory, colours that I would have absorbed from the sky and sea.
I also like to introduce coloured thread into my artwork, having a degree in textiles this has an influence in the way I work. In this piece I have used Orange and pale blue cotton thread.

I do try and ensure the screen colours match the original painting but there may be slight variation. Please do not put painting near or direct sunlight this will alter the colours and make it fade.
