organic abstract #966
Cotinus coggygria / Bog oak
Two small sculptures come together. The small, teardrop-shaped, dark brown core that weighs only 25 grams and is 7.5 cm long is what makes this combination so special. It is a small piece of bog oak, for which a certificate is included. The origin is in the late Neolithic over 5100 years ago. This core can be placed loosely in the naturally yellow sculpture. A tingling experience to hold in your hand for 5100 years! Both parts are treated with wax and polished to emphasize the shine of the colors. The yellow wood made from cotinus wood, the roko logo (Roland Köpfer) burnt in and comes from the present day. Cracks and adhesions are cleverly brought into harmony with the sculpture.
