This piece came out of a brief period some weeks ago, musing about my Oregon Roots, recalling some wonderful times spent with family and oldest friends, and Oregon’s spectacular beauty. The Old RV/ Van depicted here, looks just like one belonging to my brother, in which we drove together once up on a time, from Malibu to Portland; a trip I’ll never forget. As we say goodbye to last year, I make resolutions to head back asap, to reconnect with those people I’ve known longer than anyone else. This canvas is painted around the edges so it can be hung, unframed.
