I love orchids and grow some of them in my studio, most of them bloom in winter which makes a perfect bouquet. In this painting they are the Cymbidium and oncidium orchid. In this painting I used the combination of wet onto wet technique and layer of washes. Original transparent watercolor painting on 140lb cold press Fabriano paper, 14"x14".
