“Orchid” is a classic oil on linen painting showing a flowering plant in a vase. I decided to make a painting of this plant I had in my living room because I found it so beautiful and colourful. This is the first time I paint an artwork without people in it but, still, I find it expressive and poetic. The background is painted in dark violet colours to make the orchid stand out.
