A first painting in the series of orchids I am painting, exploring the theme of immigration and belonging. Orchids are resilient plants, that thrive in places other plants would perish. They attach themselves to trees, and get their water and energy from the air.

This bright, fluent abstract orchid is full of energy and love.

Acrylic and oil on canvas.
Size: 40 x 30 cm (15,75 x 11,81 inches).
