While I have been painting for my solo show, I have tried to take Fridays "off" I decided that on Fridays, rather than painting in order to create a finished painting, that I would do whatever kind of painting that I wanted to do. So maybe an acrylic abstract, or a collage, or maybe a still life of an orange! This was so fun to paint and now when I see it in my studio, I have to smile!!
This is painted on a gessoed wood panel, in oil. It was painted directly from life. And then the orange was enjoyed! :)
