Original artwork description:

Painted on-site in my neighborhood in Minneapolis. Features a little maple tree in autumn color, lit by the afternoon sun. The foliage features shades of orange, peach, salmon, and burgundy red, accented by autumn grasses and bare branches.

Created using both brush and palette knife. The background is painted with casein paint, and has a softer, matte texture. This contrasts with glossier oil paint, applied thickly to create the texture of the foliage.

Framed in a 1.5" wide frame with a red-brown finish to complement the colors in the painting. Would make a lovely and cheerful addition to any room in your home or office, or a one-of-a-kind gift for a birthday, housewarming, wedding, anniversary, etc.
