Sept. 2022 / Abstract Acrylic Painting / Heavily Textured (10 Layers) / 12 x 16 x 1.5 on Gallery Wrapped Canvas. Sides will be painted to match the painting. I like building my canvases with layers of paint. There is a richness by doing this for this painting and many of the paintings I paint. The 4 top layers I have created give character with the cracks and crevices with the variety of colors below the top layers. The under layers are Blue, Teal, Yellow, and Ochre. The Top layers are Red, Orange, Yellow, and Bright Aqua Green. The roughness/texture and lines I have placed on the painting give character to this Abstract. I have painted this Abstract with a loose feeling while blending with my palette knives.

I have placed felt pads on the 4 corners of the backside to protect the wall. Golden Professional Archival Gloss Varnish Spray has been applied to protect the painting. Certificate of Authenticity included 1/1.

Lighting will be important for this painting or any other painting to bring out the brilliance of the colors. Also, Wall colors will be important for this painting or any painting.

Note: I base my pricing on amount of time working on the painting, the genre, art supplies used, and Artfinder's % which is reasonable and good since they are promoting my artwork Internationally.

Professional Arcylics applied with Palette Knives. Painted on Gallery Wrapped Cotton Canvas. Coated with Golden Professional Gloss Varnish.
