Painted on-site at Boerner Botanical Gardens near Milwaukee, WI. Features a trio of large poppy flowers. The two flowers on the right are open, with their generous petals blowing in the breeze, while the flower on the third flower on the left is just beginning to spread its petals. The brilliant, rich orange flowers are complemented by a background of wine and rose red and deep indigo blue. The light green foliage contains iridescent paint is was done with a palette knife for texture. Similarly, the shapes of the petals were enhanced with a palette knife.

Comes framed with a 2.5" wide frame with an antique gold/bronze finish. May also be purchased without a frame.
