Original artwork description:

Painted on-site on Lake Nokomis Parkway in Minneapolis. Features an autumn scene of a maple with brilliant orange foliage and crabapples with leaves of rose, green, and bronze, nestled on a hillside of bright green grass. The afternoon sunlight casts dramatic shadows down the hill.
Painted in oil over casein with iridescent and florescent oil paints. The casein underpainting has a matte texture which contrasts with the oil and also displays some running and dripping effects. Painted with both brush and palette knife using thick impasto texture to create the tree foliage.
Framed in a 3" wide wood frame with a platinum colored finish. May be purchased unframed by request.
