Painted on-site in Minneapolis, MN. A striking autumn painting with bold colors and textures. Features a tall autumn maple tree with brilliant orange leaves, in front of which stands a ginkgo tree whose leaves are still green, a small crabapple whose leaves are pink and gold, and some ornamental grasses in cream and bronze. Bright pink-orange leaves, yellow-gold leaves, and blue sky create a halo of color around the main maple tree. Painted in oil with iridescent and florescent oil over casein on board. Painted witgh with brush and palette knife. The texture of the foliage and grasses is enhanced with thick, impasto layers of paint. Framed in a 2" wide wood frame with a honey-brown finish and black inner edge. May be purchased unframed by request.
