I often go hiking in the mountains where these unique lilies grow wild. They imbued happiness, energy and are of texture with patterns. I painted this after one of my hikes in the Sierra Mountains. The colors I have chosen for this piece are of somewhat muted colors to offer the viewer a relaxing and peaceful mood of ambiance for pleasure.
