This original hand carved wood wall sculpture is one of the latest artworks of the skillful Bulgarian contemporary sculptor Nikolay Martinov, deeply inspired by abstract geometry, contemporary cubism, minimalism and pop art. His concept is to create one layered abstract landscape and with the help of a singular carved geometric fractal line to make a three dimensional algorithmic color accent. It is one extraordinary woodcarving masterpiece and exquisite home wall decor.
Nikolay Martinov’s work encompasses many contemporary art styles with the act of minimal drawing being key to his exploration of form and sculptural composition.
